Internet Jerks

Today, I leasurely sat at the computer intending to search the web a bit and then go over to my blog. Well, before I got started, I decided to check out my adsense account to see if I had any revenue generating traffic. Sure enough I didn't. No traffic at all actually. Thus the search began. What are some really good ways to get revenue generating traffic? You know what I found?

Internet Jerks. I'm not meaning to put anyone down here when I say this, so please be not offended. They are the ones that are bottom feeders. Trying to snatch all the money from the newbies, week willed, and niave. Tasteless people that flood youtube with crappy videos about crap. They are 5 of the top 10 in any of Google's search results. They have really long web pages that reak of fermented bile.

Well, I share a bit of a distaste for this type of person for more than one reason. First off, at one point in my internet career I actually was a newbie that was week willed and niave. That's right. For just $20 I bought into, what I found I could get for free, Google's Adsense tricks and secrets and whatever else. I got a membership to a scaresly populated internet sore and an e-book. Sure enough, it helped me.

It helped me realize that the best things in life are really free. And so are the best things on the internet. With a little hard work and some focus, you can find almost any information. ANY! Information.

The other reason that I have a distaste for this type of person, is that they have destroyed the credibility of the internet. Not only does no one trust anyone anymore. But people are becoming affraid to be a part of anything on the net. People are not dumb. We can all see that these people are about as trustworthy as a rat in a thieves den.

I could emphasize any part of this post, but for now, I'll leave it as a rant. And I will strongly encourage people to stay away from long sales pages, people promissing quick millions, and easy this or that for the rest of time. If the person you are going to give your credit card information looks like a slimy ball of trash seasoned with butt salt... They probably are exactly that.

Blog When You Don't Want To

I'm going to keep this short and sweet. But I am doing so for two reasons, I'm tired. And I don't feel eloquent right now...

The first thing I am going to talk about today is why you should post even when you don't feel like it. You basically need to make sure you post daily for a number of reasons: 1. For the readers. They will be coming to your website when you don't expect it and when you aren't prepared, so be as prepared as possible. 2. So that you get into the habit. This especially applies to new bloggers, but veterans need to stick to this too. As a veteran blogger, you might find yourself being turned off of blogging for a few days and might want a mini vacation. That is fine, but don't get lazy. By not posting, you are shooting yourself in the foot and in the wallet.

Also, I have been doing a lot of research on the net about the net and blogging. If you have any great websites to recommend, I would greatly appreciate it.

And lastly, if you have any suggestions or comments on what you would like to see in the future, feel free to tell me.

Quick Question

How can you ever have fresh raisins?
Seriously, by definition it's old and dried up...
